In support of 2009’s 'See What Manchester’s Made Of’ Christmas campaign, Peter Saville, Manchester’s Creative Director and Co-founder of Factory Records designed limited edition Manchester gift wrap.

The Manchester print was specially created for sale across the city’s tourist and cultural venues.

In keeping with the city’s original-modern ethos, Saville’s aim for the multi-coloured abstract
design was to subtly evoke the warmth and emotion of Christmas in a contemporary way. It makes for a striking wall poster, as well as wrapping paper.

The gift wrap is still available to purchase from the Manchester Tourist Information Centre, Manchester Art Gallery, Vinyl Exchange and from Visitmanchester.com’s online shop.
