PiccFit
2012 was Britain’s great summer of sport – and Manchester workers and residents were able to get theirs off to a flying start with our PiccFit sessions in the heart of Manchester.
Fun, friendly and best of all free, PiccFit was the perfect way to encourage people to get out and about in the city centre. Taking place in Piccadilly Gardens, our informal sessions with local expert trainers meant participants could just drop in at lunchtime, after work or at the weekend, try something new and find a great new way to get fit in the fresh air.
PiccFit was all about promoting community fitness in Manchester and making the most of the Piccadilly Gardens as an open space to be enjoyed.
Timetable
The free fitness sessions ran daily from Saturday 5 May – Friday 15 June.

The sessions
All equipment was provided and there was no need to book in advance – this was a drop-in format, signposted by large PiccFit flags in the gardens.
