CityCo invites to an exclusive tour of the new £30 million extension to Chetham’s School of Music

CitySessions turn the spotlight on Manchester’s major players and city developments.

Chetham’s is the largest specialist music school in the UK and is integral part of Manchester’s rich cultural heritage. We are delighted to invite Claire Moreland, Head of Chetham’s School of Music, to speak at our May event.

The evening will begin in the school’s oldest medieval buildings, dating back to 1421. In conversation with Manchester journalist Simon Binns, Claire will share the fascinating history of the school, unveil the latest development plans and discuss Chetham’s pivotal role in Manchester’s evolving cultural landscape.

Claire will then invite guests on a guided tour of the new school building and concert facilities. This is an exclusive opportunity for CityCo and Piccadilly Partnership members not to be missed.
