Piccadilly has welcomed international entrepreneurs TechHub to Carver’s Warehouse. Hear about the ambition for Piccadilly as Manchester’s latest digital district at our next Forum event (Monday 22 October, 6-8pm, NQ2022).
Digital startup entrepreneurs TechHub, have started their national and global expansion with the introduction of TechHub Manchester, adding to the growing community following London and Riga.
TechHub is an international network of physical technology spaces, backed up with an online network. TechHub Manchester will be pulling together talented tech entrepreneurs of the North from mid-November, with a new central location at Carver’s Warehouse in Piccadilly Basin.
TechHub are launching with a bang, hosting a Startup Weekend, 9-11 November hackathon, sponsored by CityCo, where entrepreneurs get together to create new businesses in just 54 hours.
TechHub Manchester is co-founded by Doug Ward, Shaun Gibson, Ben Hookway and Martin Bryant. Doug and Shaun are co-founders of Tech Britain. Ben is a serial tech entrepreneur and long-time TechHub London Member, and Martin is a managing editor of tech blog The Next Web.

Suzanne will share landowner TCS’s plans for Piccadilly Basin as a digital hub; including proposals for the development of the basin’s Brownsfield Mill on Great Ancoats Street.

Doug, a technology adviser to the government Cabinet Office, will introduce TechHub and talk through the ambition to foster a new generation of internationally-focused Internet startups in Piccadilly basin.
