Cityco celebrates Manchester through the lens

Cityco aims to promote Manchester as an open and accessible photography destination, encouraging amateur and professional photographers to take to the streets to capture the essence of our wonderful city.

To get the ball rolling Cityco ran Manchester's first Open City photography day on Sunday 23 May; an amateur photography afternoon hosted by five professional Manchester photographers Aidan O'Rourke, Andrew Brooks, Len Grant, Paul Herrmann and Mark Page.

A selection of images from the day were then chosen and exhibited at the Triangle shopping centre throughout July 2010.
